Congratulations to Zachary & Maris Hawkins who were married Saturday, December
29. Maris is the daughter of John and Paula Demosthenes. Zachary is serving in
the Navy & Maris is teaching, They will live in California until Zach gets new
orders. Best wishes and God bless.

2008 OFFERING ENVELOPES
Your
2008 Envelopes are in. They are on a table in the Community Center. Please
pick up your envelopes today so we can avoid the expense of mailing them. If
you do not find a set of envelopes with your name and you wish to be registered
as a member of St. Nicholas, please call the office. (422-5600)
FOOD PANTRY NEEDS DONATIONS
The
Food Pantry is very low on food. If you would like to make a donation to buy
needed supplies, please make out a check to St. Nicholas Pantry and mail it to
the office or give it to Buddy Redfearn.
BIBLE STUDY RETURNS ON FEBRUARY 19
Bible
Study will resume on Tuesday, February 19 at 6:30pm. Join Fr. Jimmy as he
teaches the Book of Mark.

PLEASE NOTE: ADVANCE NOTICE FOR PLANNING SERVICES
When
planning any services-MEMORIALS OR CHURCHINGS-you must Contact the
priest/church office 2 weeks prior to the date, so we may make proper
preparations. For WEDDINGS & BAPTISMS-10 to 12 weeks are necessary for
validation & securing proper certificates and registration from the
Archdiocese. CHURCH DIVORCES must be filed & validated by the
Archdiocese prior to scheduling a second wedding (approx 3-4 months).
BINGO MANAGER NEEDED-DEADLINE TODAY
We are still looking for a Bingo Manager and have extended the deadline until
today . This paid position will entail coordinating workers, setting up bingo,
and preparing reports. If interested, call Eddie Redfearn 498-8200 or Dan Cook
498-4810.
If we do not have a new manager and additional volunteers by today, we will
have to discontinue bingo effective January 1, 2008.
FLOWERS TO HONOR LOVED ONES If you would like to buy a plant in memory of a loved one, you may donate $15.00 for the purchase of Christmas flowers that will decorate the church during the month of December. Forms may be found on the Narthex table. |
