Sign up
for the St. Nicholas Christmas Card which will be sent to all the members of St.
Nicholas. It’s only $25.00 to send greetings to your St. Nicholas Family and to
support the church. Deadline is Dec. 2…Only 7 days left. Please sign up today.
BINGO MANAGER NEEDED
We are still looking for a Bingo Manager. This paid position will entail
coordinating workers, setting up bingo, and preparing reports. If interested,
call Eddie Redfearn 498-8200 or Dan Cook 498-4810.
If we do not have a new manager and additional volunteers by December 10 we
will have to discontinue bingo effective January 1, 2008.
BIBLE STUDY ON HIATUS UNTIL NEXT YEAR
Bible
Study will be on hiatus until the beginning of the
year. Date will be announced at a later time.
STEWARDSHIP UPDATES
In
order to meet our goal of offerings of $280,000 we need to raise
$5,385 per week. Last week’s offering was $3,695 Through November
18, our total offering is $184,225 and our goal has been to receive
$247,710 a difference of minus -$63,485.

YOUTH CHRISTMAS CARD DRAWING-DEADLINE DECEMBER 3
The
young people of St. Nicholas (Ages 6-18) are invited to take part in the 2007
Christmas Card Drawing. Two drawings will be selected for the St. Nicholas
Christmas Card. Applications are on the Narthex table.
PLEASE NOTE: ADVANCE NOTICE FOR PLANNING SERVICES
When
planning any services-MEMORIALS OR CHURCHINGS-you must Contact the
priest/church office 2 weeks prior to the date, so we may make proper
preparations. For WEDDINGS & BAPTISMS-10 to 12 weeks are necessary for
validation & securing proper certificates and registration from the
Archdiocese. CHURCH DIVORCES must be filed & validated by the
Archdiocese prior to scheduling a second wedding (approx 3-4 months).
